9 Classic American Details For A Historically Accurate Home

   While this is for structural integrity as well as a place to put decorative items, deep window sills give the opportunity to intensify the classical interior design theme.
2. Fireplace Surrounds
   
   
   Our team will build a Rumford fireplace with a herringbone brick firebox –– taller and more shallow than the modern fireplace. This fireplace will easily reflect heat back into the room, creating an authentic fireplace experience.
3. Ornamental Plaster Ceilings, Cornice, Ceiling Medallions, and Crown Moulding

8. Belgian Block Walkways
   
   
   Historical Belgian blocks are a long lasting option for walkways and driveways. It can be used as an accent (as shown in the image above) or to create the entire pathway. These are rough cut stones that will create a natural and grand entry (or exit) to the home.

   One of the most classical forms of architecture –– this architectural element has strength like no other. Arches serve a functional purpose while adding beautiful and intricate detail.
