Biographies

Robert Griffiths, President

After running his own carpentry contracting business from 1978 to 1982, Bob was the key employee for a main line builder where he managed field operations, estimating, contracts, and projects for 10 years. He formed Griffiths Construction in 1992.

Wayne Rowland, Vice President

With 6 years of cabinet-making experience, Wayne joined a Malvern builder that specialized in architectural residences and renovations. In his 15 years of experience there, his responsibilities included sales, estimating, sub-contractor negotiations, client relations, and job management. He became a principal of Griffiths Construction in 1994.

Ric Rauscher, Superintendent

Ric brings over 30 years of construction experience to Griffiths. Having previously managed his own carpenter contracting business, Ric is in his 22th year as a superintendent. He is experienced at all levels of construction and enjoys an excellent relationship with his clients. He joined GCI in 1994.

Russell Keller, Superintendent

Russell joined the Griffiths Construction team after seven rewarding years as a superintendent for a Bucks County firm. That experience, together with 5 years as a lead carpenter, provide an excellent foundation for his work at GCI. Russ joined the GCI team in 1996.

Terri Moore, Superintendent

Terri has worked her way over a 28 year period from laborer to superintendent to operating her own business in Colorado. Upon her return to Pennsylvania, she joined Griffiths Construction, where she brings her vast experience and attention to detail to each of her projects. Terri joined GCI in 1996.

Terry Stoup, Superintendent

Terry has enjoyed many successful projects and excellent client relations over his 28 years of experience as a carpenter and superintendent. He joined Griffiths Construction in 1994.

Frank DeMarco, Superintendent

Upon graduating from Villanova University, Frank worked for 6 years with a New York City based Architectural metalworking firm before moving back into the area in 1991 as a partner in a general contracting firm. He joined GCI upon his partners retirement and brings a strong work ethic and a deep varied experience level to the team. Frank joined GCI in 1999.

Mark Townsend, Service Manager

Mark worked 8 years after college and a stint in the service, honing his people skills and managing service work for a Montgomery County builder before being recruited by GCI in 1998 to manage their Service Department.

Paul Smyth, Controller/Estimator

After graduating from Villanova, Paul has spent the last 25 years working in various financial/accounting fields, progressing from staff accountant to controller with breaks in between as a trim carpenter. His experience as a carpenter combined with a strong interest in the construction industry plays a key role in supporting the field operations. Paul joined GCI in 1997.

Tonya McKim, Office Manager

Upon graduating with a major in Accounting, Tonya brings her bookkeeping and computer skills to Griffiths administrative staff. Previous experience in the banking industry only enhances her ability to provide support to the office and field personnel, making her a valuable addition to the Griffiths team. Tonya joined GCI in 1998.
